Who can go on this trip?
Current (2021-2022 school year) 11th and 12th grade students. All student who plan on attending the Alaska Mission Trip are required to attend at-least one normal youth program a month from January to May 2022. This is so all students can get to know the youth staff and get to know the other youth on the team.
Will there be pre-mission trip meetings?
Yes, we will have two mandatory meetings for all youth and parents to attend. Dates for the meetings will be emailed out by January 2022.
Why is the 11th-12th grade mission trip in Alaska this year?
Every year the 11th-12th grade students go on an international mission trip. Due to current global pandemic, we are not able to travel internationally at this time. We are able to travel within the US and so the youth parent committee and youth staff began looking for mission trip opportunities in the US. We had such a great experience with Praying Pelican Missions last year in Alaska that we voted to return again this year. We have also been invited by our host church to come back and serve at that location again.
