Costa Rica Mission Trip [Canceled/Rescheduled]

Cost Rica Promo Long.png

One of John Wesley’s three simple rules is do no harm. We are part of a global community and that is one thing I love about international missions. We get to go out and walk beside our global brothers and sisters. We get outside for our own personal individualistic culture and put others first. Do do no harm in the current state of the global COVID-19 pandemic means to care about everyone’s health and well-being during this global event. In light of Wesley’s first rule, the current known pandemic information, talking with church staff, communication with CRPM staff and prayer, the Costa Rica mission trip scheduled for April 5-11 is canceled (but with hope of being rescheduled).

We are sending the money raised by the chili cook-off to CRPM so that they can still do the work that was scheduled for us to help with. This donation will help a local church community to grow and further the work God is doing through the local church in Costa Rica.

On a hopeful note, we are in discussion with Rev. Wil Bailey at CRMP about a possible reschedule of the trip for Christmas Break or early January to allow our current and soon-to-be college kids to possibly still go on the trip. It is the early stages of talks and many things are unknown, but the trip is still a possibility.

Blessings to you and thank you for your flexibility through this current global pandemic.
