MOUNTAIN TOP MISSION TRIP UPDATE: APRIL 27
Dear Mountain Top Mission Trip Parents and Youth,
I wanted to take a moment to give you an update on the Mountain Top Mission Trip on June 21-27, 2020. I have been in communication with Mountain Top and our Parent Advisory Council as to the current state of the mission trip. Here is what we know right now, as of April 27.
Mountain Top is still having the June 21-27 mission trip. They have canceled the two mission trip weeks before June 21-27. They are also changing the way small groups are done, all students will stay with their churches and not be mixed in with other churches. You can read more about Mountain Top's plans here. If your student is registered for Mountain Top but do not wish to have your child participate this year due to COVID-19 concerns, please contact Moose at moose[at]cfumc.com and let me know. Due to the current situation we are in, the PAC has voted to allow a full refund for the deposits that have been made toward the trip if you choose to withdraw your student from the trip.
Please note that this situation is still fluid. We are waiting on guidelines from the North Georgia UMC Conference that might impact this trip. Please be in prayer for the trip, Mountain Top, and the adult volunteers leading this trip. Thank you for your patients as we try our best to work through this difficult situation.
Blessings,
Moose Mosteller
