Where: Camp Glisson in Dahlonega, Ga

Who: All 7th-12th grade students

Deadline to Register: February 19, 2020 or until retreat is full

Total Cost: $150 ($50 deposit due upon registration)

Timeframe: Friday 2:45 PM to Sunday 2:30 PM

About Spiritual Life Retreat:

Held at Glisson Camp and Retreat Center in Dahlonega, Ga, Spiritual Life Retreat is sponsored by the North Georgia Conference Youth Ministries for youth 7th-12th grade. Worship, small groups, fun and games, experiential activities and much more will grow your faith as you join in building a lasting connection with other youth groups from across the conference. The theme of the upcoming Spiritual Life Retreats at Glisson Camping and Retreat Center is "Run the Race," centering around our continuing journey of faith - the roadblocks and how we can overcome them, the crowd of witnesses who cheer us on, and the One who runs the race with us. We'll learn the strength of God's kingdom above anything we can find in the world today and celebrate our diversity and especially the good news which holds us together through one spirit.

FAQ:

When Will You Leave On Friday, March 13th?

  • Youth will need to arrive at 2:45 PM at Solid Rock Cafe and we plan to leave at 3:00 PM. This means that your student will need to be checked out from school early, but can be counted as a half day. We will have dinner on the way up to the retreat (dinner is cover in the retreat cost).

When Will You Get Back On Sunday, March 15th?

  • We plan to return to Solid Rock Cafe by 2:30 PM on Sunday, March 15. We will have youth contact their parents if we will arrive earlier or later than 2:30 PM.

What Meals Are Provided?

  • All meals are provided in the cost of the trip including travel meals to and from camp.

When Is The Final Balance Due?

  • Final balance is due before March 13th.

Will You Have A Waiting List If All Spots Are Filled?

  • Yes, the registration button will link to the waiting list in which you can join at that time. We will notify you if and when a spots becomes available. You will have 24 hours in which to register for the event before we open the spot up to the next person in line.

How Many Bags Can I Bring?

  • We will have limited space for luggage. Each students will be allowed one duffle type bag (that is soft and can squish) and one book bag for on the van. Please do not bring a square/rectangular, hard shell suitcase on this trip.

Can I Bring My Phone?

  • Yes. Please note, CFMC are not responsible for lost or damaged phones. Cell phones tend to not work at Camp Glisson due to camp being outside the range of most national carriers towers.
